I’m the Mid-60’s, I lived beneath the main South-South West runway of the Bunker Hill AFB-about 9 miles out. During most of the Cold War, they were a major SAC-base (Strategiac Air Command). As a young teen, I and my friends became adept at identifying the B-52s as they headed out on training missions.
