    I know that almost every part of the banana plant can be used for something or eaten. I'm wondering if by sheading these they were going to cook them down to eat or make a pulp to be rendered and pressed into some type of construction material or clothing.

    The machine works great, and I'd bet it would be good for making sauerkraut too. That said, I have to agree with the lady in the red in the background. There is no way I'd want a baby anywhere near it.
