    In the image below, it appears the load is offset to port. With the center of rotation so low on the narrow barge, any list to port greatly exaggerates the imbalance. Once it gets to far, there is no saving it.

    From what I have studied in the past is that logs that are transported by loading onto a ship or barge, the transporter is designed to unload that way. That's why one barge tipped one way & the next one the other way. I would cause too many problems for all to unload on one side.
