    That jigsawing sure looked like it was done by someone who puts in a lot of baseboard molding...also a hell of a lot easier to follow the line when it's not constantly covered with sawdust...

    Hmm. And all this time I've been making a 45* miter and cutting out the profile with a cop(e)ing saw.

    Never knew they existed! But his jigsaw technique is quite alright...a 1mm gap is OK for a bit of caulking. No brain surgery required in coping baseboard!

    That's a standard method. But if you're coping differing profiles that plan doesn't work.
