Please allow me to introduce myself. My username is my real name. I retired from the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office in July 2012, and since then I've been a full time bladesmith.

I'm primarily interested in forges and forge tools, including hydraulic presses and the associated tooling. But Anything I can use around the house or yard can catch my eye.

I've already learned a lot from this group, and I look forward to contributing in the near future.
