Better lights for the workshop
The lights above where the MG stands were recycled florescent tubed from some 10 years ago and then they were 10 years old already, so pretty dull and when I built the workshop I kinda ran out of time and fitted then directly against the 3 meter high ceiling.
Well with this LockDown I have started working on the MG again, but could hardly see. Had to use the leadlight the whole time. Then I remembered the box of LED tubes I bought last year on Black Friday. What a good idea that was.
I also hardly ever through something away, so I had the broken cable from the remote garage door and an broken timer.

And withe some holes in the ceiling to secure brackets for the cable and some off cut 3 core wire from a previous job.

The tubes are replaced with LED ones and the lights and dropped down some 700mm. I like the way it is on cables so if I would want to get the boat into that side of the workshop I can just temporarily lift then. And I am saving electricity. One of the fitting's balast transformers ware particularly :flame: to the touche.Must have been chewing electricity and converting it to HEAT. :sweating:
