    Idiocy wasn't invented in California but the government is making a concerted effort to perfect it.

    You may ride a bicycle on a limited access “Freeway” in California if there are no alternative routes available. (!)

    Sections of I-5 are open to bicycles.

    The really sad thing is the fact that I don't see many cyclists taking advantage of this "cycle friendly" law.
