AH, yes, Big Muskie was a sight to behold. One of the most memorable things I remember about it, other than the massive size of the beast, was the "extension cords" used to power it. They were just like massive extension cords, handled by large trucks with a reel for moving them around. When I was younger, early 20's, my friends and I did some SCUBA diving in the abandoned strip mines. We happened upon the Monster one weekend while it was being serviced. I wish I could find the photo of my 1967 Chevelle parked next to the bucket. Those were days when security was not so tight. It was interesting to talk with one of the guys who came out to see what we were doing there.
Lots more information online about it.
