    I would like to see tools built with parts and motors repurposed from general various appliance's I am an ex truck driver vehicle mechanic now partially disabled ps thanks for the free ebook it makes great reading .

    Sure, we can help with that. Here are some ideas:

    Coolest re-use of a washing machine is going to be...chicken plucker. Basically you just buy the plucking "fingers". We have a few of those listed:

    Lots of guys like to build belt sanders, and the trick for that is getting a free treadmill from Craigslist, and using the motor to power the belt sander. Plus treadmills often have a separate incline motor (so that someone can simulate walking/jogging "uphill"). The incline motor can be used as a belt tensioner.

    For simpler use, a decent motor can simply be bench mounted for various use around the shop: Bench motor
