Builder GrandPaul on AccessNorton.com did some great monoshock conversions with his Nortons. Just search for "monoshock commando" and you'll immediately find his work.

This silver beauty is one of his finest. Built around a Commando 850, it features a custom-made swingarm, KYB monoshock, Lyta Sprint tank, 18" aluminum rims, Showa inverted forks, among others. Too much chrome tend to be an eyesore but Paul somehow balanced the chrome with the silver paint job. This '74 Norton came a long way from pieces to a showpiece.
