Jon I can see where this idea could be used as a product or productivity quick reference chart, if mounted near a machine or conveyor or other station where setups sizes products or other items were changed at intervals by one or more persons at different times or shift changes.IT would be a handy visual guide for a supervisor as they walked by They would know at a glance what was on the line at any given time. Or at a shift change the next operator would know what the last set up at that station was being used.
A variant of this could be used by the supervisors to hand out to the workers when they completed a task marked by the clips they checked off that item with a marker. all clips checked would mean it was time to get a new chart.or their quota had been met.
I'm sure there are those who can remember punch card templets where you made a mark in the punched out hole. Hanging shads were the problem there LOL
