Is that another life hack or just another example of millenial ingenuity?
(Lest anyone misunderstand, "millenial ingenuity" is not a compliment.)
I actually like this one. Probably because it's clever, not because it's actually useful though. It's difficult to replace a pencil.
Well Jon useful or not I I have to side with Marv. I was of the school that when you checked off an article on a list you placed a check mark and your initials beside the mark That way no possible confusion later
What could happen if the individual dropped the clip board those unchecked tasks could suddenly become completed.
I like how he's essentially changing on/off state with a flip of a binder clip. However, yes, I have a weakness for productivity hacks, despite how niche this one is.
Jon I can see where this idea could be used as a product or productivity quick reference chart, if mounted near a machine or conveyor or other station where setups sizes products or other items were changed at intervals by one or more persons at different times or shift changes.IT would be a handy visual guide for a supervisor as they walked by They would know at a glance what was on the line at any given time. Or at a shift change the next operator would know what the last set up at that station was being used.
A variant of this could be used by the supervisors to hand out to the workers when they completed a task marked by the clips they checked off that item with a marker. all clips checked would mean it was time to get a new chart.or their quota had been met.
I'm sure there are those who can remember punch card templets where you made a mark in the punched out hole. Hanging shads were the problem there LOL
Admittedly, I was not thrilled to see that one of the tasks is "clean dyson filter".
reading all of the check points this appears to be a final check list or a service check list for a Motor coach or similar RV
note clean toilet clean kitchen clean bathroom check motor oil check tire pressures vacuum, dust, white laundry color laundry, bed, reset modem, firmware updates, mop floors, clean dyson filter. Where else but a travel coach probably a rental unit would you find a list with all of these similarly unrelated items in play?
I can see plenty of situations where this would be a terrible idea but also plenty where it is fast, easy and much better than using a pen/pencil. I like it and may actually implement that.
