So if there was a holding area under the ground, the bottom plate would allow then to slide into the holding area and then the weight moving off of the plate would allow it to reset and the tipping motion could allow it to re-bait itself when it tipped back up! I better apply for that patent now!

Also changing, or shortening the elastic band, allows for weight adjustment of the catch!
