Black Hawk helicopter crashes on carrier deck - GIF

An Australian Army Black Hawk helicopter crashes while trying to land on the aft helicopter deck of the HMAS Kanimbla. Two personnel were killed and seven were injured.

I can't help but wonder if there wasn't some reason behind the all too abrupt and high speed approach angle leading to the crash.
