While this may definitely generate a chuckle or two, you'll never know when you need a contraption like this. MrL33TPenguin on Instructables.com made this kayak entirely out of plastic bottles, surprisingly, without using the ubiquitous duct tape.
If you happen to find yourself castaway in an island littered with plastic bottles, do some waste management and save yourself at the same time.
