Hi .I think this site is awesome and most of the articles I have quickly read shows you guys are brilliant . My interest are vast Autos / garages /buildings/sheds and home repair.I would love to build an efficient wood burner for my garage (35X28 POLE BUILDING WITH NO INSULATION ) as i just lost my pension due to a bankrupcy.

Hi bob - welcome to HomemadeTools.net :welcome:
I don't know if we've yet had a wood burner build in the forums - that could be a nice unique build around here :)

Hi bob,
Welcome! :welcome:
You're in great company hereabouts with such wide-ranging interests. What form has your automotive hobby taken?
When you're ready to share some of your own homemade tools, we'd love to see them. Please post them directly in the Homemade Tools subforum. We'll add each one to the database, as well as to your builder page on the site.
Non-tool items should be shared in the Not a Tool, but Homemade subforum.

A car guy who's looking for a heater? Jon's right, the choices are thin (on this site, for now) on this one. This one caught my eye though http://www.homemadetools.net/turbine...-shop-heater-2. Welcome!

Hi Bob! Welcome aboard!
The builder of this wood-burning shop heater claims that it could heat a 30x36 room. There are also waste oil and propane-fired burners in the database.
