I spent some time in MO a number of years ago (St. Charles area) while attending a FlightSafety sim course and found it to be a great part of the country.

I've done workon a flight simulator of sorts. This will date me---It was a Link Trainer.

No "of sorts" about it - the Link was a very legitimate simulator, however primitive by today's standards. A whole generation of pilots were tortured, er, trained, in that little, blue box. A classic! :)

Several of us were loande to a unit on Egland main when the Gulf Test Range was shut down for a few weeks. We all got a ride in a Link. Worse than an amusement park ride!
