Bolt Paint Rotisserie
On the MG forum I was told that originally the bolts securing the Tub to the firewall should be body color. I was saving all the bolts and nuts to have them plated. There are 18 of them so each one must be sandblasted, primed and then the top coat. fortunately black so a rattle can can do the job.
So a rotisserie would be nice  I was given a few broken micro wave ovens and one of the nice parts coming out of a micro is the motor turning the plate inside.
Another nice part was the bracket that holds the light. It is nicely angled at 45 deg. Also an old stove on/off switch was easily secured with a cable tie.
Attachment 34408
As you can see 240 V and rotating at about 5 rpm - Perfect :rocker: Even the 240V mains lead is from the old Micro wave.
Attachment 34409
A piece of 8mm fuel hose and a hose clamp to secure to 6mm motor shaft and the 5/16" bolt is just a nice fit to stay in place while being painted.
I am sure this little aid will be used again.
