    TOWED VEHICLE BRAKES?

I doubt the towed vehicle has braking provisions by the towing vehicle?

"CFR-2003 49 4 Sect § 393.71 Coupling devices and towing methods, driveaway-towaway operations. Para (3) No motor vehicle shall be fullmounted on a motor vehicle towed by means of a tow-bar unless the towed vehicle is equipped with brakes and is provided with means for effective application of brakes acting on all wheels and is towed on its own wheels."

Exactly, although it is hard to see in the video but if you stop it around the .08 you can almost tell that the orange blur might be a pair of air lines you can see the safety chains clear enough and there appears to be yet another line or shadow of what the electrical cable could be. I didn't find any DOT number or name on the box truck though.
Never try to tell me it can't be done

You are correct about the lack of DOT number on the towing vehicle and I saw the orange lines you mention but due to how they were bent and twisted considered them to be wires for lighting? At any rate, any diesel cop passing by would certainly pull that rig over for a closer inspection. That is a sketchy looking arrangement for sure.

Amazing, that in all the years I have been visiting this group, this is the first sketchy looking arrangement I have ever seen!

Not judging, quipping. There's a cornucopia, undeniably sketchily arranged outfits aplenty........ spell check wanted stretchily; yeah that too.
