claims it will clean up to 500 bricks per hour.
3600 seconds per hour and a video length of about 35 seconds for the one brick, would be 102 bricks per hour. Would need to get the cycle time to 3600 sec/hr / 500 br/hr = 7.2 sec per brick

I assume the holes in the bricks must also be cleared of mortar.
The holes serve several purposes, among them; weight reduction, material savings, decrease drying time prior to firing, decreased firing time due to less mass and improved heat flow to the core for even heating while firing.
Secondary advantages, although much less significant, better bonding and some say insulation value.
I personally question both of the last two. It your mortar join fails with the holes filled, those holes would not have prevented the failure. The are also much better ways to add insulation value.
The holes are for manufacturing efficiency.
I would just remove the old mortar with a ball peen hammer and that's it. Most people like the look of old brick.
With lime mortar, you could clean them faster with a cleaver. But removing cement mortar is not a lot of fun.
