    British Railways 10100 diesel locomotive - photos

    The British Railways 10100 was an experimental diesel locomotive powered by six diesel engines. Four of the engines were used for traction while the other two drove the engine pressure chargers to enable the main engines to deliver very high torque at low crankshaft speeds.
