Thank you for accepting me as a member. I am from a small town 30 miles southeast of Charleston WV. I recently got 100% custody of my 2 youngest children from their alcoholic and abusive mother. My daughter is 9 and my son is 14. I had the opportunity to buy an older Honda fourwheeler for them in July, it did not run. I paid $50 for a 1997 Honda Recon and 2 five gallon buckets with all of the Recon's parts inside them. At the beginning of September and after buying a new carburetor, swingarm bearings and seals kit and a bearing and seals kit for the rearend, I had it running. My kids love it, and I love to hear them brag about their old man putting back together and making it run again, a left for the recycle bin l, fourwheeler.

Hi Jon, I bought a non running 2006 Suzuki Eiger 400 4x4. That thing is a beast. I already got it to start but it backfires something awful. Cant buy a new carburetor for it right now though. It doesnt have a normal choke on it, it has a compression choke and the carburetors for it are outrageously expensive. But at least its running.

Reminds me I need to spend more time on my quad.
