    BT500 subsea trenching machine - photo and video

    BT500 tracked subsea trenching machine for underwater cables. It can operate at depths of up to 1,000 m (3,281 ft).

    I worked with its predecessor LBT1 installing offshore wind turbine cabling, nice vehicle to operate - loved it.
    SMD build some really nice gear.

    Like the video simulation of the ROV flying behind it, In reality it would be flying in a cloud of crap coming up from the trencher.

    I’m confused why you would want or need to bury a cable on the sea floor. And do you call the 1-800-beforeyoudig number for someone to come out and mark any existing cables?
