When I was a younger we had a local contractor who had several cable rig dozers and even a few cable dump trailers.
Things get exciting fast when the cable on a dump trailer snaps and it is still full but almost all the way up.
My Dad assembled a Bucyrus shovel in 1938 for the Loskop Dam, in South Africa, wall excavation. Everything was delivered by rail to site in 4 huge packing crates. The manuals arrived a month before the machine so that he could study the assembly and not waste time on site when the machine arrived.
