I'm a. quarter Lithuanian so my people are neighbors to Poland, both in Europe and in the coal mining towns of Pennsylvania where my grandfather was born, and I grew up hearing Lithuanian jokes and Polish jokes that were all interchangeable, and hinged mostly on the deliberating mistaking the newness of this country's culture to recent immigrants from that part of Europe and their almost universal decency for stupidity.

It's downright ****ty, like all racism, and it's utterly lowbrow humor that ironically puts the truly stupid in charge of calling other people stupid for no good reason just to make themselves feel superior to someone, in the absence of any evidence to support their insipid ideas.

I can tell you, in my experience, some of the most amazing homegrown engineers I know are from Poland, and some of the most amazing minds I have gotten to see at work are as well. My closest friend is a Polish-American college professor, a biologist, and he's a verifiable genius, so here's to Polish ingenuity and all it's done for humankind. This is a great video.

People from all ethnic varieties are probably equally slow and equally intelligent. What I mean is the individual is the one that matters. Life's lottery deals very good hands to some, average to many, and lousy to some. Thank you for the tutorial Trollsky. I have thought about knifemaking but so far haven't dove in. Is it okay to learn it online or from a book or is it better to have someone teach you? Thanks.
