This 24x30 cabin was built by Don & Ginger Lundgren on CountryPlans.com.

The cabin was built on a 4.5 acre lot in Monroe, Maine. The husband and wife team did the entire job except for the well and septic, and the cabin is being built to live in year-round.

The cabin went up with a lot of family help, garage sale and Craigslist deals on parts, and weekend work. It's difficult to beat a log exterior for aesthetics, but in this case, the cedar shingles came out looking great.
