Thanks Rick, I had a Makita circular saw that continually had the lead roll over near the blade when cutting posts close to the ground. It eventually cut through the lead (240V) and neither the shed safety switch nor the house one (linked together & 40 metres from shed) activated. I was not injured. Now I have the lead over and around my shoulder after many years of "structural landscaping" this is a good alternative for safety. I actually use hangers ( for storage) for several of my extension leads similar to that device not thinking of that potential on my belt.
