Great Idea! I just rotated the tires on my Hummer H3 (285 75 17) they are heavy!
Think he better go ask an "older truck driver' who has actually changed flat tyres on the truck or trailer whilst stuck on the side of the road, what they been using for decades and it's been very successful using it as well. Do not think any respectable truck driver would have any spare space to carry that thing around either.
This was designed for an old car owner who has lots of space in the garage.
The older I get the better this thing works. Thanks for your comment.
Back when we ran biased ply tires with tubes, the normal complement of tools in a truck was a jack a tire hammer a couple of tire spoons and geared lug wrench, a wooden cigar box with patches, glue and a small vulcanizing clamp and maybe an extra tube. Just use 1 of the tire irons to lift the assembly back on the hub. Usually about 30 to 45 minutes we could be back on the road, a few minutes more it is happened to be an inside tire because I had to use the jack instead of a 4x4 block to drive up on and had to pull both tires off . Dayton wheels or what we called Oklahoma wobblers were the best because to remove 1 or both tires it was only 6 lug nuts instead of 10 for the outer and 20 to remover both

I use a shovel which I always have in my vehicles.
That's a great idea especially if you are on the road changing the tire.
great idea, Thanks !!
