I have 420 acres and we are removing all the cedar. We are using a dozer and a John Deere 5075E with a quick attachment we had custom built. The way it works is basically go up to the tree and push the plate under the roots and it pops the tree out. Now I'm looking for any advice anyone may have on building a quick attach grappler to pick up the cedar and move. Or if anyone has already made one and has the designs. It can't be all that difficult to build, just need it extremely durable. Don't want it to have a 72 inch bucket or anything, but thinking like two cylinders that would connect to the back hydraulics. And if anyone has any advice on better ways to push out cedar and move please feel free to share.
