When is the best time to be born? If before the current technology explosion you get to see the monumental changes. If now then not withstanding the human wish for self annihilation there would be all the future advances to follow.

Why put the worst camera pointing at the ground? Why carry all the dead weight of the phone, instead of the much lighter normal drone components? why risk a $1100 phone when you can risk a $400 drone?

People have made projects using a phone as the 'brains' of an autopilot drone, but all the same sensors and CPU is available in smaller, lighter component form.

The rotors look like ones from a micro-drone and having them in a rectangular configuration rather than square makes them much harder to control. I fear this one is just more AI/Photoslop.

LOL, I work at a university and often joke that is we ever have an emergency that requires the use of both hands, 3/4ths of the kids are gonna die. Sadly the PTB are about to make our phones our keys to the buildings, along with all the other things we use 'em for.

At least mine still lives in my pocket. (until it dies or ages out, I have the last iPhone mini Apple made)

The "drone propellers" are taped on. It's bulls**t. Why bother with your phone flying when drones already have cameras?

To comment on what Tony said, I have often thought I was born at the best possible time. (1954) Not necessarily exactly but you know what I mean. I often think of all the incredible things I have witnessed, a quality of life that kings didn't enjoy not too long ago. Also, with the rate that everything is headed into the toilet, I won't be around to see most of it. There is some hope. It seems that some of the world may be coming to their senses.
