    Changing date display format

I've been getting very confused looking at various posts on the forum and I eventually figured out that it was because of the American date format. Is there a way to change this? I've trawled through the settings and can't find anything.

When I look at this post, it says it was posted on 03-09-2021, which to most of the world (everywhere outside the US) is about 5 months in the future (3rd September 2021).

I'm sure I must be missing something in the settings but I've gone through them twice looking for a date format configuration.

That's a good point, and I just double-checked the date/time settings. You can alter your timezone, start day of the week, and daylight savings time settings, but unfortunately there isn't an option to order your day/date/year display settings.

That's a real shame. In that case is there any chance the default could be changed to something less ambiguous? Either ISO8601 style (2021-04-07 for today's date) or with the month written out (e.g. 7th April 2021 or Apr 7, 2021).

That's reasonable. I've just changed it. Thanks for the feedback.
