So legitimate question here. I used to bicycle a lot, and I was always very respectful of vehicles. I would push off to the side and follow the rules of the road. What happened that bicyclists turned into such assholes? They crowd the road and don't obey ANY traffic laws. A group of them near my house signed some petition to get the speed limit lowered on one of the main roads from 70 kph down to 60 kph. They don't even use it. I travel that road every day and can't remember the last time I saw a bicycle using it. Nobody wanted this, but a dozen entitled knobs got together just for the specific purpose of making life worse for everyone.

There are bicycle paths all over our downtown that take up parking spaces, disrupt delivery vehicles, give no-where for anyone to go when trying to get out of the way of emergency vehicles, the bike lanes are first to be cleared of snow (even before sidewalks), they have advanced green lights at every intersection slowing EVERYONE'S progress and yet I drive these streets everyday for business and rarely see a bicycle using them....squeaky wheel...

Not hip to much biking anymore, had to know correlation to "peloton pile-up". Peloton, yeah, from the advertisements. Well, googled the phrase and here's one of the first returns. Far, far more realistic program than I'd have guessed. . .
