I remember being 5 or 6 my dad's younger brother, my uncle Vic, owned a yellow 57. Getting in the back seat seeing the chrome speaker grill in the middle. Cool car.

I wish I had my original 57 back. It was a two door sedan with a few different features, it was made special for Bell Telephone as a service car.
No back seat, rear interior was squared off with sheet metal, no hump for the driveshaft, side rear windows permanently installed like a windshield, no hand cranks, it had an inline 6 cyl. with the two speed power glide. I yanked that out and put in a homemade Z28 4sp Muncie and had the best time with that car. A friend of mine got a new 67 Chevelle 396 with a turbo 400, he always made remarks about kicking my butt, one Saturday our local racetrack had grudge night, about six of us went racing and I was paired up with the Chevelle, when the light turned green I was a half car length ahead the whole way, he was not very happy. Well my 57 was no where near as nice as this one. Thanks.
