Thanks to car guys all over, there almost always is an example of an old car that showcases a certain period in automotive history. Case in point, this 1958 Chevy Suburban. You can see from this example how far the Suburban has gone over the years. Simple carbed V8, minimalist interior, with a cargo space that can fit all sorts of stuff. I like that the builder chose to replace the rear suspension with a Jag IRS, replete with inboard discs. And the builder was careful to note that the final iteration of this build was as a driver, not a trailer. Yeah, my kind of build!
