Imagine the clutching of pearls if you distributed this around your local city.

I'll hire a couple of the neighborhood kids to distribute them for me - it would be a good learning experience.

I started helping my Dad from an early age. But he kept it real. Work, get what he needed done and go play. As I got older there was more to be done. But I have to admit I enjoyed the learning and the sense of accomplishment. I trained my son's the same way. Do your job , do it well and then you have a true sense of self worth. The key is the central statement in that poster. Build character and useful training. To few young people are willing to work hard at anything. Even their own lives. A little elbow grease is beneath all to many people.

Back in 1961 I was taught printing by a guy who was 72 at the time. He started working full time - 6 days a week, 10 hour days - when he was 10. That was common at the time.
