Scrapping stock that I would use...
yes, I just requested friends in our new town collect some scrap steel for us. We'll make something out of it! If nothing else, practice my tig skills.
So much for OSHA rules and regs
No protective guards over any couplings or connecting gears. In fact, I don't see anything protective related except for one guy wearing some knit gloves. Makes me shudder to think what accidents may have occurred there.
If you hurt yourself you might get sent through the machine...
I don’t think they are scrapping...I think they are making blanks to become bolts and other things they can sell to us to use for a while and then pay them to ‘dispose’ of them for us when we are tired of them...at which point they will turn them into other smaller bits to sell back to us and the cycle repeats until the pieces are too small and they have to melt them into larger pieces to sell back to us
