Chocolate tempering machine GIF

Chocolate tempering machine GIF.

Not exactly sure what's going on here, but the chocolate expertise I've developed after 10 minutes of internet research suggests that this machine is used to ensure that chocolate cools slowly and uniformly, to prevent "chocolate bloom", which is that whitish coating that we sometimes see on chocolate.

Is this a homemade machine?

I doubt it. It's a mechanical GIF, honestly one of the most alluring and addictive ones I've seen.
