Terrific old newsreel. Despite what appears a common enough undertaking, many of us unaware what it takes to complete.
And learned a little - a decree all churches must display the rooster.... It is the symbol of the French people because of the play on words of the Latin gallus meaning Gaul and gallus meaning coq, or rooster.
