Cleaning concrete by spraying gas on it - GIF

Cleaning concrete by spraying gas on it? A joke? Slightly less dangerous because maybe it's diesel? Or just some internet-recorded stupidity?

At least he is not smoking while he is washing the concrete with an environmental contaminant
Never try to tell me it can't be done

When was the last time you saw water come out of a gas or diesel pump nozzle?

I have seen water pumps at gas stations but not since the early 80's. This is far too recent judging by the style of pump. At least he has a "Fire Watch" person behind the pump. But this fire watch is just there to watch the guy set himself on fire!

I'm with capngeo - The liquid acts like water, not a fuel type. Also, you can hook those pumps up to tanks with anything you want in them.

Where do you see any surface tension in that video? If that was water, the "leading edge" of the liquid would not be so flat. You spray water from your hose on a concrete pad, the surface tension prevents the edges from flattening out until the concrete is wet. I do not see that anyplace in the video. Also the spray from the hose does not form into rounded droplets like water would.

It's diesel. Used to be a common way to wash down warehouse floors. Supposedly kept down the dust...
