Nick, I was in NYC for one day (the day of the NYC Marathon) back in '95, and I had enough NYC for a lifetime... it's a different planet.

As I used to live in China for work, I've been in many tollbooth lanes like that.... it can go either very quickly, or it can drag out for a long time. What's frustrating is the jockeying for position from lane to lane that causes it to go even slower... as when a car is in the midst of changing lanes, it is blocking 2 lanes.
I don't miss that part of China.
