This is a very impressive achievement, among a very skilled crowd of more than 8,000 builders across more than 1,600 websites.

Members will notice we've now also implemented an award system. You'll now see award icons in members' postbits, with more details accessible by clicking the "Awards" tab towards the top-left of forum pages. So far we only have 2 awards, for the #1 builder, and for those in the top 10. If anyone has suggestions for other awards, please feel free to let us know.

Hi, why not also giving an award per category ? First forum contributor of each category, or if you feel there are two much, you could gather by big families : woodworking/metalworking/automotive / ... or powered tools / hand tools ...
Just a 2cents idea ;)

How special about awards based on viewer popularity (as measured by views) for view categories such as 5,000 views, 7,500 views, 10,000 views, etc. Just idea but something to consider. It may be an independent measure of interest by the audience.
