    Correcting Unwanted Movable Jaw Pivoting on a 4 X 6 Horizontal/Vertical Bandsaw

The movable jaw on my bandsaw can be annoying. It is secured to the leadscrew at a single point, so is free to rotate far more than what is useful. This means having to correct its position almost every time I move the jaw in or out more than a few inches. Here is a simple remedy.

I like that long swarf pan. I have one of those black plastic oil drain pans on the floor, that catches most of what drops straight down, but there's always a mess below, and the part that gets cut off, drops off the saw, and rolls under something near the saw. You've fixed both problems. Looks like that's a drywall mud pan.

The pan idea came from my friend, John Herrmann.
