Counter balance for drill press table

I made a counter balance for a Harbor Freight bench top drill press using various things scrounged from my shop.

I would consider that for mine but it has a 3rd step pulley in the center. Next time I'm out there I'll look and see if there is room. I kind of doubt it.

Another option instead of paracord is ball chain.
