Craftsman Powdercoat gun questions

I am looking to 3D print a device similar to the Craftsman powder coat gun. I need it powered by a CPU fan and to dispense a fine powder.

I plan on using the device for coating plastic parts with graphene and graphite to electroplate.

I also plan on 3D printing the device.

However I am at a loss as just how the powder can be pulled from the cup and dispensed consistently with the CPU fan like how the Craftsman did. Unfortunately I plugged in my craftsman gun into a 220v outlet and fried it a couple years ago and it ended in the garbage so I can not take it apart and see how that worked.

Anyone have a link or video or something that shows this method?

I think it could also have other applications like in food like powdering something with sugar or dusting aluminum powder on something.
