    Croissant sorting robot

    Croissant sorting pick-and-place machine. It looks like the selection is random, unlike this hamburger bun defect detection machine. Why is that? Are they intentionally randomizing batches so that packages of the croissants don't look uniform, and have more of a "freshly baked" look?
