Customizing crescent wrenches. By not2fast4u2c. I'm skeptical of the bondo + woodgraining combo, but this is still interesting.

One bit of trivia here...As my high school auto shop instructor used to love to correct us: "Crescent" is a BRAND NAME for an 'open end ADJUSTABLE' wrench. If it came from Harbor Freight, then it IS NOT a 'Crescent' wrench, rather it is an open end adjustable wrench of Asian origin. But I suppose that by now, the name 'Crescent' is in the public domain, and the whole argument is now moot...(?) I too am skeptical that the 'Bondo' (another brand name) is going to hold up when used this way. Still, the general idea is of merit I suppose; if you are REALLY bored with the look of your hand tools... Rest assured, I won't be doing anything like this with any of my Crescent brand open ended adjustable wrenches. Any hand tools I have of Asian origin stand a much better chance of ending up as yard art. :P
