I thought they were going to "unscrew" the fuse remotely or was that an attempt to detonate? Anyone ?

If you look close you will see a set of arrows that indicate a counter clockwise direction. On each side of the tool, there is a wire entering the tublar portion. Each of these also indicate that they are probably ignition wires to ignite the charge in the tubular section. These two charges are reversed and are mounted opposite of each other so that they impart a spin on the tool. A pretty violent spin. I addition you will see the operator mimick the rotation with his hands to verify he has his "lefty loosie, righty tighty" correct. I'm wondering if this idea would loosten rusty lug nuts on a big truck. LOL

I assumed it was a device to unscrew the fuse remotely, then again, perhaps an attempt to set if off after seeing the abrupt disappearance of the tool. Obviously a single use tool.

It is a multiple use tool and generally provides enough force to loosen the cap.

I thought it was a kaboom to destroy the fusing assembly, but no... it's an explosively actuated impact wrench. That is very cool.
