Dial Test Indicator Holder Base

I own an Indicol Dial Test Indicator holder. It works great on the spindle of my mill. I don’t own nor can I justify a similarly nice DTI holder to mount to my mill table. Here is my solution, which uses a Magswitch.

Great idea Rick. I have one of those little magnets and it gets used for al sorts of things, picking up swaf from the corners is a breeze wit it.
