This camera is full of micro motors (including tiny stepping motors), micro-sensors, high precision mechanics, etc.

I put the sensor under a microscope, and it turns out it was bad because the adhesive used migrated out onto the sensor. I have an older CX-1 that is still good. Looks like a manufacturing change that misfired.
