Disposable paint kettle
Making use of plastic packaging items is something most of us think is a good idea.
Having used roll edged galvanized paint kettles for years I was stuck without them having forgot to bring them to a job some miles from base. In desperation I looked through the customers recycle bin and found an empty bleach container, that will do for today I thought so cut it as shown and as it turned out it was better than my proper ones and since then I have used nothing else. They are deep, have a nice sharp edge, very robust and work well from a ladder hook. They are also easy to strain paint back into the paint tin.

Also if you cut them in a different style they make a good scoop for cement, sand, animal feed etc. My old kettles are now holding sundry nuts and bolts etc.
